Self-criticism

"I have offended God and mankind because my work didn't reach the quality it should have."

  1. Read some Sirach (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sirach) and drink a glass of Chianti, dear Leonardo, and thou wilt feel better immediatly.

    P.S.:
I wished today either there were more artists and intellectuals with a similar attitude of selftrascending melioration in front of their work. Instead of self-searching, self-finding, self-confidence, self-realization, self-determination, self-satisfied complacency and self-preservation.

If someone has got lost, he has not to refind himself, but orientation, i.e. his position in time and space.

There is an optical illusion, due very much to Hermann Hesse and Erich Fromm (and a little bit also to oriental thinkers like Tagore, or to a misreading of them).

  2. Self-criticism and self-knowledge is especially important. And the courage to change things or act differently.
