No sinner can be redeemed until he comes to honor God's greatest work - himself. In order to value others we must learn to accept and value ourselves. It's not so easy as it sounds.

  1. If we have learned to be ourselves, then we have
also learned not to evaluate others, but
to take and love them as they are.

  2. Consequently our barfoot bandit should admit that he is expert in take-off and a loser in touch-down. He should value others´ ability of not ending up on the scrapheap and concentrate himself on his locomotion on ground. Then he should buy a pair of shoes that really fit.
