Complete Idiot Or Genius?
In the 60's we all admired Bertrand Russell as a great philosopher and a fighter for peace, justice and freedom. When Wittgenstein met him to ask a most important question, Russell was already a celebrity. First he became the mentor of the young man, later he was his opponent.

Since I humbly try tracing discoveries in astronomy my respect for philosophical studies has been reduced. Astronomical knowledge expands in an accelerating speed. And philosophy? Mostly the same questions.
ReplyDeleteWittgenstein as technically gifted should have become an aeronaut (and later an astronom, I’m sure)
