Roswitha currently enjoys reading The Prisoner of Heaven by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. She came across a place in that book which she liked so much that she read it to me. "Fate,"Zafón writes, "does not make house calls; you have to go see it." What a great sentence. While it is true that fate often drops by very unexpectedly, you can't call it to your door. Fate Doesn't Make House Calls
Roswitha currently enjoys reading The Prisoner of Heaven by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. She came across a place in that book which she liked so much that she read it to me. "Fate,"Zafón writes, "does not make house calls; you have to go see it." What a great sentence. While it is true that fate often drops by very unexpectedly, you can't call it to your door. That's a very nice metaphor which immediately brings to mind Goethe's famous quote about committing to your dreams, the magic of boldness, and the importance of beginning now. Then--or so it seems--providence will make house calls.
